Designer Olivia von Halle has worked as a trend forecaster for clients including Louis Vuitton, Gucci Group and Lamborghini in London and Pringle in Shanghai before creating her eponymous label. Coming home from evenings partying with friends, von Halle would long to ditch her sky-high heels and constricting outfits for something glamorous enough to enjoy a late gin and tonic in before sliding off to bed. Inspired by the lounging pyjamas worn by Coco Chanel and her contemporaries in the Twenties, she started work with her tailor to design the perfect pair of pyjamas. One year later, and returning to London with an order list that was longer than her legs (she’s stunning at 6”tall), she decided to launch the Olivia von Halle brand. Olivia von Halle designs and manufactures her own fabrics, with focusing on elegant cuts and intricate prints. The unique way in which the sizing works means that whether you are a petite 5“ 1 or a statuesque 6” 1 these über luxe lounging pyjamas will fit beautifully.
The Lila Alice pyjama set is made from a cornflower blue and oyster white printed silk with white piped silk trims. The pyjama top has a rounded collar, long sleeves, mother of pearl button fastenings through front and the pyjama pants have a flat fronted elasticated waist, silk drawstring at waist and piping down the legs.
