Do I need to be a Quintessentially Member to use your service?


No, our curated gift service is open to all.

Is there a fee for using Quintessentially Gifts?


For personal shopping requests placed by either telephone or via email there may be an errand fee for sourcing the item. This depends on whether the item is no longer available to buy, was a limited piece or is challenging to find. Please ask one of our sourcing specialists for details.  Any errand fee charged would be in addition to the 2.7% administration fee.

What are my payment options?


For website orders Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, American Express, Delta and Maestro cards are accepted. (Please note a 3% administration charge is incurred on American Express transactions. Credit cards are always debited in UK pounds sterling). If you are a customer whose credit card is not denominated in Sterling, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your credit card company processes the transaction. Methods of payment such as bank transfers and cash on delivery are not accepted on our website. For Hermès purchases, we only accept bank transfer. 


Do prices include VAT?


Prices are indicated in Pounds Sterling including VAT.
The Value Added Tax is the tax applicable on UK territory.
All Hermès products are sold under the margin scheme. 


What countries do Quintessentially Gifts ship to?


We ship worldwide.


If I live outside the UK, am I entitled to a VAT exemption?


Orders outside the European Union and Monaco will not be charged VAT (20%). They are subject to local taxes upon arrival except for Switzerland and Norway. The Customer is responsible for any local taxes incurred. All Hermès products are sold under the margin scheme.

For gifts we offer a wrapping service and gift boxes as an additional charge, which can be added onto your order.


Can you help me with gift ideas, and what will that cost?


We can produce a personalised presentation to satisfy any brief free of charge. Be it an anniversary, wedding gift, or you’re simply after something special for yourself. Our rate is £30 per hour for personal shopping.For personal shopping and pick-up requests there is a £30 per hour errand fee, in addition to a 2.7% credit card fee.

Do you guarantee your items are 100% authentic?


Yes. We go to great lengths to assure that all our items are 100% authentic, and where possible items come complete with a certificate of authenticity.


Can I view any of the items in person before purchasing?

All standard orders arrive in our signature black wrapping and shopping bags.

Our experienced editorial stylists are dedicated to creating a unique personal styling or shopping experience for you. Whether editing and updating your existing wardrobe, or sourcing a last minute event look, our styling service is open to all, and can be individually tailored to your needs. All of our relationships are genuine and long-term, providing you with an on-going fashion advisory, and a purely bespoke service that makes a style update both simple and satisfying.

What are your Personal Styling fees?


£72 per hour including VAT.


How can I track my order?


Please call the Gifts team on + (0) 845 224 2617 and we will help you track your order, or email and we will respond with the latest tracking information.


How many days do I have to return any unwanted items?


For website orders you have fourteen working days within which to return any faulty items or unwanted items. Unwanted items must be returned via registered mail at your own cost. The fourteen day time limit shall run from the date of receipt of the products. Beyond that time limit, Quintessentially Gifts may at its option refuse to make the exchange or refund. 
Any products returned other than in their original condition and packaging, particularly where they are incomplete, or have been work or dirtied by the customer, will not be taken back. In the event of abnormal or unreasonable returns, Quintessentially Gifts may refuse to honour any future order. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more information.
