A trained industrial designer and formerly of Fabrica Benetton's communication research centre, Spanish artist and designer Jamie Hayon's eclectic projects include toys, furniture and interior designs and installation. His flexibility with materials - be it ceramic, metal, plastic or paint - effortlessly merges art with design. He has shown at London's Aram and David Gill galleries.

A dazzling interplay of solidity and mutability, sparkle shady features a series of light shades covered in a textile and Swarovski crystal 'skin'. The resulting structures can change shape, creating an ever surprising, ever-engaging living installation.
