Williams British Handmade
Corner Suitcase
GBP 3,200
Williams British Handmade marries historical craftsmanship with the notion of metamorphoses to produce a luggage collection that's wonderfully twisted, albeit functional. Originally from Herefordshire, designer Sarah Jane Williams completed her Masters at The London College of Fashion before launching her avant-garde fashion artifacts line. Each case is an engineering masterpiece with Williams upholding the highest possible standard of craftsmanship.
Using traditional bridle leather of the finest quality, the brass frames are produced by an accomplished metal craft worker, before every stitch is hand sewn using the traditional saddle stitching technique.
This Corner Suitcase comes in a pale blue and turns an actual right angle. It was featured at the V&A Museum's Power Of Making exhibition in 2011.
Williams British Handmade also offers a bespoke service tailored to each client's preferred dimensions, colours and finishes.
Please be advised that as each piece is handmade, there will be a short time delay for production and the items are non-returnable (unless faulty).
