Hannah Martin
Stabbed Pearl Ring
GBP 1,580
London jewellery designer Hannah Martin is a self-proclaimed collector of all things beautiful, luxurious and, just to mix it up, even the somewhat macabre. Her unique twist on the well-established fine jewellery world is to create masculine pieces for men - that are also in danger of being stolen by their in-the-know girlfriends. With Martin’s touch, cufflinks and signet rings become contemporary collectibles, as gold spurs finish tough, black Akoya pearl necklaces. Having trained at Central St Martins, she founded the brand in 2005, after a stint at Cartier in Paris’ Place Vendôme.
Each tactile piece is made by hand using London’s finest craftsmen - both in Martin’s Clerkenwell studio and through an intricate network of specialists in Hatton Garden (the centre of London’s jewellery trade).
This 18k Rose Gold Ring is made with a stabbed Tahitian Pearl, sitting in tribute to its chivalrous wearer.
Only 60 of these will ever be made.
This ring is made from 9 g of solid rose gold. The naturally black Tahitian pearl is approximately 14 mm.
Size: 17 mm (height from finger to top of ring), 5 mm (maximum band width), 3 mm (minimum band width).
