Hannah Martin
Stabbed Pearl Cufflinks
GBP 1,900
London jewellery designer Hannah Martin is a self-proclaimed collector of all things beautiful, luxurious and, just to mix it up, even the somewhat macabre. Her unique twist on the well-established fine jewellery world is to create masculine pieces for men - that are also in danger of being stolen by their in-the-know girlfriends. With Martin’s touch, cufflinks and signet rings become contemporary collectibles, as gold spurs finish tough, black Akoya pearl necklaces. Having trained at Central St Martins, she founded the brand in 2005, after a stint at Cartier in Paris’ Place Vendôme.
Each tactile piece is made by hand using London’s finest craftsmen - both in Martin’s Clerkenwell studio and through an intricate network of specialists in Hatton Garden (the centre of London’s jewellery trade).
These 18k Rose Gold Cufflinks stab Tahitian pearls through the centre and are the ultimate collectible for any cufflink connoisseur. The inky-black of the natural Tahitian pearls is complemented by the pink hues of the rose-gold bars which hold them.
Only 45 of these will ever be made.
These cufflinks are made from 3.9 g of 18k rose gold. The naturally black Tahitian pearls are approximately 13 mm and 10 mm.
Size: 36 mm (full length, from point to point).
