The Czech & Speake story began in the late 1970s when founder Frank Sawkins spotted what proved to be a fantastic opportunity: to create a company that combined bespoke bathroom fittings of a supreme quality (at the time neglected by Britain's interior design blitz), accompanied by luxury fragrances and toiletry accessories. Over thirty years later, Czech & Speake of Jermyn Street, London has become a rare success story of quality and tradition.

Inspired by the great Russian Imperial jewellery dynasty, this precious collectable egg is made from English fine bone china with the iconic Czech & Speake “spotty” finish applied by hand, making each egg completely unique. It is comprised of two halves which close together to contain the solid perfume “yolk”. The lid interior conceals a 24k gold leaf finish adding lustre and intrigue.

The solid perfume heart of Dark Rose is a Czech & Speake original fine fragrance that takes its influence and ingredients from the traditions and heritage of Indo-Arabian perfumery.
