Launched in 2011, ‘Chucs’ – a schoolboy nickname for Charles Finch, the owner – aims to add a touch of old world glamour, style and elegance to leisure wear. Finch’s motto is “Live Well – Stand Tall – Give Freely – Explore Often” and he comes from a long line of generations of explorers, scoundrels, actors and investors – his grandfather having invented the puffa/down-filled jacket.

The collection is comprised of signature swimwear for men and women and is finished to the highest quality with the utmost level of craftsmanship. Finch has previously collaborated with Cate Blanchett to create her namesake Chucs Dive & Mountain Shop shorts and Giles Deacon – whose print is featured in the launch collection.

Dive into summer with Chucs' elasticated swim-shorts, with a two button extended waistband and zip fly, using the highest quality quick-dry fabrics.

The cut is a 1950s European look favoured by playboys, aristocrats and movie stars of the Cote d’Azur and Italian Riviera, along with the Nantucket Hyannis and Santa Monica set.
